We celebrated Easter and my birthday up north this year. We decorated eggs (although just with crayon) and took part in the traditional Easter egg hunt. This year mom, dad and grandma found the eggs while the kids chuckled their encouragement. It was kind of fun to mix it up a little and watch them roam around the living room and dining room asking how many more they had to find! (Five and a half dozen all together!) Then we found baskets (some were hidden in my room this year) and enjoyed each other's company before opening birthday gifts and getting ready to head to Annie and Tom's in Gaylord for Easter brunch. It was a very relaxing weekend!
Our own personal Easter bunny "Powder" turned 9 this year! Can you believe that?
