Last weekend we were lucky enough to host the the girls (mom, Kim, grandma and Annie) overhight due to Angie's Bridal Shower. Grandma and Annie had never seen our apartment before, it was so much fun to watch them discover all the little details, and play with the kitties! We spent the day catching up and eating absolutely decadent food at the shower, just to return home to a wonderful meal prepared by Rex. We had spinach, artichoke and mushroom appetizers, crab legs (this one was a surprise!), and chicken cordon bleu. We also had salad and strawberry shorcake prepared, but we had eaten so much food all day that we were absolutely stuffed. Breakfast cassarole and cheesy potatoes finished off the morning before they all left to go home. It was so much fun hosting the girls and Rex was so sweet! I hope we get the chance to do this again someday!
