After packing for an overnight trip and catching up with my bloggy friends, I went to see Shelly for my springtime haircut...
while Rex headed next door to get me a special drink...
(They have to use a new blender and make mine special because I'm allergic to bananas and can't have anything made in the same machine.)
and our yummy sandwiches...
which I finished only shortly before arriving here.
Then we checked into one of the coolest hotels I've ever seen...
(This is one of two bathrooms in our room.)

Rex said he chose the hotel for it's colors, because he thought they
would be perfect for scrapbooking!
*swoon*
This was the lounge in our room...
and the beautiful colors on the bed matched my magazine.
We headed to Red Lobster for dinner.
Then back to the hotel for my favorite dessert.
The day was capped off by lots of shadow puppets and giggles!
(Now see how much fun it can be to document an entire day,
imagine what a whole week could bring!)
