Nothing Beats Time Spent with Friends

We were very lucky to get a visit from some good friends this past weekend.  Jer started out as a college friend.  Through the years, he has become family.  Friends and family mean the world to us as you know and we were so delighted to spend this time with him and Bets talking about and celebrating their engagement.  My favorite thing about these situations is that it really doesn't matter how long we've been apart, our hearts just fall back in sync.  Bets is no exception to this.  We may not have spent much time with her so far, but it seems as if she's always been a part of our equation. We love that about her!

Anyway, we had some wonderful conversations about their wedding and can't wait to be a part of their special day.  Once again, we are reminded just how lucky we are to be surrounded by our friends who are family and our family who are our friends.  We couldn't be more grateful!
